Fairly reductive on the nose at first, but as it gets some air, it evolves into a smokey, meaty aroma. Not much fruit on the nose, but perhaps some violet.

Good amount of juicy strawberry fruit up front, but not overly ripe. Medium tannin with a touch of black tea finish it out. Noticable alcohol.

Solid medium+ body wine with good fruit, structure, and balance. Somewhat simple but still enjoyable.
