I could tell this was an Eric Solomon wine before I took the second sip.... on the nose, dark fruit and booze. In the mouth, dark fruit, raspberries and some spice. Sweetness and heat from what I’m guessing is 15.5-16% alcohol. Medium finish. Not my type of wine, this is a straight up cocktail wine.

Nice savory through the mid point and then warm, spicy dry. Swear I got honeysuckle in early sips but it’s gone now. Earthy, gravel after taste. Complex enough for me to notice how different it is start to finish. Really like this but alcohol is a bit much like others have written. One hour decant. Let’s see how it tastes tomorrow too.
