Very floral nose. Lilac mostly, but a cacophony of flowers, over ripe raspberries, prune, black cherry, and a touch of black pepper. Strong tannins that linger and cost the top of the palate. Lilac and roses really come to the forefront of the palate with similar fruit and touch of spice. It’s nice, especially with short ribs.
