My first Austrian Pinot. For 16 bucks it was...well who cares about that...it was mediocre regardless of price. Blah. Fruity, too hot.

This one has spunk. Very bright and acidic—like lemonade levels of acidic. Cherry juice, little raspberry, and a hint of slate. Not many layers or waves. Wonderful outdoor summer red.

I thought this was boxy at first but it comes together after a few days. It’s what you expect from a great biodynamic producer like Meinklang - an entry level Pinot with high acid, lean and crusty minerals forming into red fruit and soil. You roll the dice when you play with Pinot and this is as good as you can get for about $26. Just give it time to breathe.

Decent pinot. Goes well with Indian takeout, a sinus infection and ear infections🙌.

A wee bit cloudy, garnet colouring with menthol and strawberry and cherry notes. Bright acidity and paired very well with a smoked pork chop.

Cassis and blueberry sirup on first nose, soft texture in mouth, dry finish. Superb entry level pinot noir #biodynamicwine #polyculture #permaculture

Organic Austrian Blauburgunder, slightly below expectations after a series of top Austrian and Tyrolian blauburgunder. Slightly too fruity and with a hint of sparkle. Texture ok. Paired it with goat cheese from Lombardy and arucola and Parmesan salad.
