Meadowcroft
The Panorama Stags Leap District Red Blend
This is a very enjoyable Bordeaux blend from Napa Valley.
Showing black fruits with wood, earth, light vanilla, tobacco, peppercorn, espresso, pencil lead, herbs and spices.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate and good by itself or with food.
Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.
Needs a couple of hours to open up properly, so better be patient.
Smooth and elegant with a nice mouthfeel. Spicy and tangy.
Feels like a right bank Bordeaux from a hot vintage. Will age nicely in the next 5 years.
I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit verdot, Merlot and Malbec.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Fruity nose with blueberries, black cherries, oak, vanilla, coffee, licorice, spices, chocolates, pencil lead, light herbs and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with plums, black currants, cherries, oak, chocolates, vanilla, spices, tobacco, herbs, earth, light vegetables, pencil lead and peppercorn.
Medium plus in length on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a delicious Bordeaux blend from Napa Valley. Still young, but already tasty. Nicely balanced and spicy, with a soft mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle and better after 2 hours of airtime, when tannins come in. Would be nice to check it out again in 5 years.
A nice food wine, and good by itself as a sipping wine as well. Very enjoyable and easy to drink. Elegant and fruit forward.
I paired it with dried meats and Brie cheese.
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit verdot, Merlot and Malbec. Aged in French oak barrels (30% new) for over 2 years.
