We had two bottles with dinner and both were excellent. Fully mature. The new oak here has integrated. Claret like. 70% Sangiovese, 30% Bordeaux varieties. Harmonious.

Oct 26th, 2019Not my favorite style. At 17 yo it looks like a 2 yo Cali Syrah. Very dark purple. Like ink. A lot of new oak that has reasonably integrated. 70% Sangiovese, 30% CS, Cab Franc and Merlot. Tasty, but not great.
