Had this one just after my stint with Covid. Still not certain about my smelling abilities. However with that said I will give this opinion. The nose obviously has strawberry notes but to me was more like one of those strawberry hard candies like your grandmother would like. Assuming Covid deviation for this because others did not agree. Raspberry and cherries as well. At least the taste buds did not suffer like the nose. Beautiful red fruits linger with hints of ash/chalk and a bit of spice. Tannins are medium plus and the acid is right there as well. Making this a very enjoyable glass to drink. I know we did not let it sit long enough but the solid foundation that is is built on shined throughout the bottle. I can only imagine how this will be in its prime.
