Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio Rosso Piedirosso

Interesting style- light ruby, white pepper, saline, lithe with cranberries. A modern wine but nice with food.

Che bel vino! Preso a Napoli, naso intrigante e molto tipico, bocca lievemente meno ricca ma il vino è equilibrato e beverino! Annata 2009, alcol 12,5

Straight up spoilage character and burnt rock, pedio and lactic problems for sure.

Brett overdone smells like horse pooh

Stinky nose initially, smoky dark fruit, a little raisiny. Ripe fruit w/ med+ tannins

Not a lot happening here. The more it opens the worse it is. Burnt rubber sorta thing on the finish.

Light and fruity. Almost like a natural in terms of brightness.

Italy always with the new to me grapes. Piediroso grown in the volcanic soil of Mt Vesuvius. 12.5%, tart, rustic, big red berry fruit. Excellent w. grilled meat.

Very light bodied. Pepper, cherries and bright acidity; light tannins.
