An Amarone on the stronger side. Raisins, licorice, cherry, pencil lead. This nose is very much what you could expect from an amarone. The palate is intense : very strong acid drive, huge matter, excellent width, nice cherry and raisins notes all along, massive spherical mid palate with a little bit of a tannic wall, creating some distrubance in the mouthfeel. The finish shows those cherry and raisins notes along with a tiny touch of bitterness. Good wine and it will be much better in 5 to 7 years.
