On this occasion this showed plenty of dried fruit aromas and had the sweetness to back to that impression up. Distinctly off dry. Paired with some red sauced pasta, which it overwhelmed. Try with something spicy meaty as pepperoni pizza or a tomatoes sauce with dried fruit and chiles.

For $13 bucks this is a big bruiser. Not a fruit bomb though. Got more character than that. A little tar, smoke, dark plummy / raisin fruit with a touch of sweet lingering on the finish.
