Wednesday Wine Committee. 1 sparkler, 2 whites, 4 reds and 1 dessert wine. All tasted blind as usual.
Toughest wine of the day. Again, no one called this (or any of the whites), Italian. It was like an older Viognier...kind of floral with chamomile aromatically, yet turned a little skunky with time in the glass, gaining waxy notes alongside herbs, honeydew and melon. I called this older Viognier.
