Extra Brut Pinot Noir Rosé
Not sure why Delectable calls this a “blend” when it’s 100% Pinot Noir. Pale salmon pink. Fine persistent bubbles. Abundant nose of yeasty cherry. Bright and bone dry palate echoes the nose with a slight dark hint of licorice on the finish. Bracing acidity enhanced by the bubbles. An excellent New World twist on traditional method rosè. Made for food — try it with lighter beef cuts — but tasty enough for a sipper. Drink it when you buy it, of course.

Nov 29th, 2020100% Pinot Noir. On the palate strawberry and cherry flavors with biscuit notes on tiny bubbles, sharp acidity, dry, on a medium finish ending with some floral and yeasty tones. Ok, but better ones out there. Tasting Sample.

Jan 27th, 2020A very pale salmon-colored rosé. Bubbles are fine and persistent, though the mousse dissipates quickly (even though it’s a wee bit warmer that it should be. Nose is a bit shy yielding red fruits and hibiscus. Tart but weighty palate echoes the nose adding sharp acidity (which is to be expected). Don’t be scared. The prevailing world climate makes extra brut wines quite approachable. This is no exception. Enjoy as an aperitif or with seafood, poultry, or soft cheeses.
