Wow. Martin says this wine has the highest level of dry extract every recorded in the history of the estate. I believe him. Huge nose of apricot, honey and citrus. Spicey and so mineral. Super earthy as well. Like slate dust, but finely crushed. I know makes no sense. Huge palate but totally dry with incredible vivid apricot and tangelo fruit and dazzling freshness for such a big wine. This needs 15 years. Nothing like this in the Mosel. This is Auslese TROCKEN.

Nose is like a dessert wine with some age. Crazy Powerful peach with a hint of petrol.

Palate is huge peach and aged Riesling. Hugely juicy. Just huge. But not blowsy. Mind bogglingly intense.

This is at least 3 years too young to drink. More likely 5. Maybe more. You can feel the density struggling to express itself. This is going to be a crazy life altering wine when it’s ready to drink. It could be a 10... hard to tell.

Finish is perfect intense dried apricot. Actually Better than any dried apricot. Some apricot pit.

Yah. Huhnberberg is one of the great vineyards on earth.

If you must drink this now decant for 2 hours at least.
