Awesome wine. Dynamite showing. Huge expressive nose of orange rind, wet stone, citrusy jelly, apricot, so perfumed. Amazing. Palate is super complex and so refined with huge mineral intensity and such length to the citrus apricot fruit. So tangy and salty on the finish. Wow.

Is there any Martin Mullen wine that isn’t superb? Nose has sponti/yeasty funkiness, great minerality, and fragrant apple/lime/peach scents. So complex. All sorts of flavors in the mouth too. Nice acids. Lingering fruit and slightly bitter minerality on the long finish. Feinherb is usually not my favorite style but this rocks.
UPDATE: my wife, who is not a Riesling fan, took a sniff and said, “It smells like a can of tuna.” I re-sniffed and said, “Nope.” I guess wine will always be subjective.

So fun and captivating. Nose has crisp, ripe peach/apricot, deep slatey minerality, honey, and a little biological funk like a rock plucked from the eddy of a stream. Mouthwatering acidity encases a slightly drier palate than I expected. Very minerality and long. Damn I love Riesling!

Day 2 detailed notes - huge perfumed nose. Also citrus and almost jellied fruits, slate and peach. Also spice and an umami element. So aromatically deep. Palate is crisp and so balanced with lovely fleshy peachy fruit. Long and juicy. Wonderful.
