Apr 24th, 2021Insane in the membrane. Huge nose of citrus, lime blossom, pink grapefruit, petrol, slate and herbs. Insane perfume. What an elegant and complex palate that floats yet is so so intense and juicy. Wow what a finish and that insane 2010 acidity. Amazing purity and so so delicate. This is genius. So good now but will last and last and last.

Nose has dried apricots, very over-ripe nectarine, lemon peel, crushed slate, peach pit and wet vinyl curtain.
Palate has orange zest, ripe peach, ripe nectarine, nectarine skin, warmed lemon, green apple peel, fresh green herbal notes but with a light sweetness. Amazing wine, great acidity with very extended finish; Wow!
Decanted 6H. Expect this to drink amazingly 2025-2035+.
6D Update: Nose has honey drizzle over ripe apricot. Palate has dried orange peel, ripe peach, dried peach, green herbal note persists but coupled with dried orange.

Fantastic wine. And not even his top bottling. Mosel slate and acid blasts the palate. Some green apple and a hint of lemon pith. Crazy vibrancy. Lovely slate on the nose. Bought from fass selections.
