'85 Marques de Cáceres. Still holding on to some life... Probably better 10 years ago... but there's still nice vibrancy and structure. Fruit has fallen apart considerably though-- still forward with red fruit of strawberry, but it's lost its finesse and delicate nature. Just a touch of baking spice. Lovely notes of forest floor and wet potting soil which I really like and aren't far off of what you expect for Rioja.

Not a mind blower by any means but better than just okay too. €8
