Have had this wine for years. This one is a bit thinner on fruit and rather tannic and harsh. Both in day 1 and day 2. Little disappointing.

A simple wine. A bit of wet soilly, earthy funk, sharp and fumey on the nose with deep red fruits. Full and tannic on the palate. Cali fruit, to me, seems so confectionaire and candy-like . It is really alive with a fiery acidity on the finish. It's like a fireball candy. And this must make it fine for america.

We really liked this one. Full bodied with some fruit. Kind of mellow and good for a nice evening at home.
