Big broad and even a little rustic - direkt Import by K & L wines. Dark cherries, earthy, velvety, tobacco. Well balanced. Great juice. Drink now at its peak.

2005 Champy Mazis-Chambertin: youthful, velvety but tannic. Concentrated but reticent, with elements of morello cherry, blackberry, umami and black tea. A little more savory/saline than fruity.
