Wasn’t crazy about maybe it would be better with food instead on its own.

For $5 this is one of the greatest QPR's ever. Current 2017 vintage is now out of stock. Praying to the God's that it returns next year with an equally delicious vintage. Fairly balanced leaning towards medium fruits and minimal tannins and no harsh bites of alcohol.

$6 at Trader Joe's Long Beach. Very nice for the price.

Aroma: bakers chocolate and cherry skin.

Flavor: Nice earthiness with a tart cherry and cacao finish.

Mouthfeel: nice body and dry. Doesn't linger on the palate.

Overall: Very nice to just sip on or pair with a steak. Definitely an above average wine at the price point.

Dark ruby. Leathery oak nose. Subtle fruit at first, blackberry plum in the finish. Juicy astringency, lengthy tannins. Bolder than other French wines I’ve tasted... seems to cater to New World red wine preferences. At about $6 at Trader Joe’s, it’s very enjoyable for the price!
