Another terrific wine from Cris Cherry of Villa Creek fame under his Maha Estate label, I think this is a grenache/petite sirah/carignan blend, but I’m not sure. Amazing fruit on the nose, the wine benefits from dropping the temp a bit from cellar temperature and giving it about 20min to breathe in the glass. Doesn’t yet have the complexity that I think it will in a couple of years - those flavors need to integrate a bit more - but this is a really enjoyable wine. Highly recommend.
