Incredibly deep nose. Kirsch at first, then opened up with round black fruit, leather, cedar, and tar. Sweet entry with immediate lick of acid up front. Mid palate is not heavy but deep and profound. Still has a strong acid backbone and plenty of fine tannin. In great shape for 22 yo wine. Deep, rich, but fresh and alive. With R at Bistecca for anniversary dinner.
