Olives, tar, fennel, plum skin, cherries and earth. Plenty of life ahead but so good now.
Needs air and needs food. Paired with NY strip, asparagus with preserved lemon, and garlic mashed potatoes. Boozy and grippy.

Classic Barolo. Licorice, blackberry, violet notes. Noticeable tannin but approachable given the youth of the wine. Overall well balanced and a solid example that will be stellar with a few years of age.
