Tradition Alsace Gewürztraminer

If only the sweetness was dialed back ...

Lovely nose of honey, canteloupe, melon, and nectarine.. Creamy honeyed palate with a nice touch of sweetness.. Just enough acid to keep it all together. Nothing too crazy, but Great with spicy Asian food.

Bright honey-hued. Aromas and flavors of grapefruit, honeydew, lychee, minerals, orange blossom, pear, pineapple, and rose petal. Medium-plus body and high acidity. Wonderfully aromatic nose; refreshingly crisp palate; medium-length finish.

Rich, flowery, honey sweet

This was our turkey wine for Christmas dinner. Quite nice, though not as good as the Silver Sage that we usually use.

Smells of Spicy fresh grated ginger, tangelo purée. The spices smell helps to prepare the pallete for the candied tones of Buddha palm and loquat. Heavier body, that releases a bit more citrus before it decides to linger on for quite a bit..Lots of residual sugar here, certainly a warm and giving vintage. Yum. Alsace has so many wonderful wines to explore, if they weren't so damn expensive.

Too sweet in its own but excellent with spicy green curry.

Oysters. Served to Marcela, Sergio, Mike and Pam. Mike specifically liked it

Off dry, just the right amount of sweetness for my taste. paired nicely with curry turkey thanksgiving leftovers.

Smells like Sauternes. Eat with spicy food or act as dessert wine!
