This was a good one. So smooth and not acidic. Aged so well! Where were you 1992?

I’ve had this bottle laying around for years and was afraid to open it, considering that it’s now a 27 year old bottle, and who knows what’s going on inside. Unfortunately, or should I say predictably, it was slightly oxidized, but actually still enjoyable. There is no more fruit left, but secondary aromas of beeswax and mineral. Paired beautifully with a buttery grilled cheese 😉
