Louis Latour
Pouilly-Fuissé Chardonnay
All of the grapes from the vineyards owned by the Latour family are vinified and aged in the cuverie of Château Corton Grancey in Aloxe-Corton. The winery was the first purpose-built cuverie in France and remains the oldest still-functioning. Pale lemon with aromas of stone fruits with a slight floral character. On the palate peach flavors with lemon nutty notes. The finish has lively acidity and ends with some of minerality.

Mar 1st, 2022Nice Chardonnay, not oaky at all. Perfect for Thanksgiving or anytime. It is crisp and floral with fruity and citrus aromas.

Nov 30th, 2021Light, white flowers on the nose. I taste pineapple and a hint of French butter even as I drink this quite cold. In typical white Burgundy fashion, a hint of chalk raises its hand and lets you know it’s present, but doesn’t do so in too loud of a manner.
