Wine has a beautiful medium dark ruby red gaining some brick hue on the border. Has always been taut and muscular and somewhat variable. This bottle oozed with great fruit, spices and flowers, and was truly excellent. Tanins are pronounced but there is enough fruit here to outlast them. Was a great bottle and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
