Syrah. With a little help of Viognier. From the languedoc. And only 12% abv. Also already quite matured, 2007 vintage.
Cork studded with wine rubies (tartaric acid cristals)
Nose light beet root and violets, dried figs. Ok. This guy is really getting older.
On the palate cherry, chocolate, liquorice, violets. Juicy, lightest tannins, very easy drinking. Peppery violets aftertaste. Bit short but quite enjoyable nevertheless.
