Star bright straw gold. Inviting nose of dried apple and classic Chenin straw. Echoed strongly on the light-bodied palate which adds some dusty dry marzipan. Bright, medium plus acidity; moderate finish (slightly longer as it warms, of course). It’s Vouvray, but it’s dry! In other words, classic Middle Loire Chenin Blanc that’s ready for almost all white wine foods (might be overwhelmed by roasted pork). Drink now through 2024.
