Mellow, dryer character with some quintessential Washington ethos. Dusty dark chocolate and berry centric fruits at the forefront, with dry but approachable tannins rounding out the palate.

Funky at first. But after being open for an hour it mellowed and was pretty good.

Notes of black and red fruits with oak influences and ripe tannins.

Good random recommendation from the wine store. Reminds me a lot of Educated Guess, for a little bit less at $23.99. Definitely adding this to the repertoire.

Oak, cassis, redcurrants, medium-bodied, still structured with tannins into the finish, needs 5-10 years, nicely balanced, long, persistent finish.

Juicy but a bit too tart for me. Was looking for a Syrah tonight and didn't quite fit the bill, but overall not bad.

A fine meritage that runs hot and opens on the nose with red fruit and slight forest floor, then closing on the pallet with black cherry, blueberries, spice, and cedar. Paired well with strip steak as expected.

Noticeable bite on palate shortly after opening, but tends to smooth out and is enjoyable. Good value wine.
