A Dave Phinney project, and a real value for $20. Deep red with dark berry fruit and spicy aromas. On the palate blackberry and plum flavors with vanilla and mineral character. Tannins are a bit firm but opens in the glass. Medium+ ending with a fruit structure. Nice!

This is the Locations E7 Red Blend. Grenache based blend with Tempranillo, Monastrell and Carinena added in. Dark ruby color. Bright aromas of red plums, tobacco, purple flowers and cedar. Pallet is loaded with plush black berry/cassis fruit, dusty soil, tobacco and spices. Long and lengthy. Thank You Mark S!

E-1 (2011) purchased June 2013. Beautiful ruby color, nice balance of red fruits and smooth tannins. I think this inexpensive wine aged wonderfully.
