Very approachable indeed. Still a little shy, but beautifully balanced with liquorice, leather and dried floral notes on the nose, with an earthy palate that finishes with insistent tannins. Finished a main of beef, then needed to bring out some cheese to restore saliva levels. Decanted for four hours, but keen to leave this overnight and see how it develops.
