It is not a 10, but it's very close.
From the start when I opened it I couldn't believe it, but this label in this year is arguably the most important semillon from the Hunter Valley to understand its potential.
It has a nose with billions of shades from fruits to mineral, from lanolin to honey, spices and so much more. The wine has no sign of oxidation whatsoever, perhaps it might have lost a bit of freshness, but it's long and glorious.
It's one of those legendary wines that you get hold on and you shouldn't drink...but I did and I enjoyed it too. Cheers
..also too it isn't a 10 because i have one more bottle that I hope it might have kept a bit more acidity...and for sure it will be corked...
