This is a decent Bordeaux blend wine which is marred by a bit too much acidity.

Foxy. Black currants and dust on the nose with oak and some cocoa. Savory, tannic, palate staining and a little sweet, but with enough acidic lift and freshness even at 14 years to make for interesting drinking. Some sediment has fallen out, but not enough; more time will help.. Very tasty.

Still quite youthful. Oak needs another 5 years or so to integrate and this will be in good shape.

Bangin' right out of the bottle. I'll decant the next one.

Had a bottle over dinner at Sullivan's in Denver. It took an hour in a decanter to fully open. Lush, complex and long. Fantastic!

Tasted this wine in Walla Walla and didn't want to wait when the bottles arrived at the house. As young as it is, the wine was delicious right up front. Looking forward to the next 5!

Restrained compared to the Quilceda Creek wines I have had previously. Medium bodied lacking somewhat cassis berry notes. Nicely balanced, some herbaceous notes, medium non aggressive tannins. Overall very satisfactory. 2011 vintage.
