A young wine with all of the classic Brunello flavors. Bold and robust requiring decanting for at least 1 or 2 hours to truly enjoy. Not as balanced as the more expensive Brunellos, but a good complex wine nonetheless. Definitely benefited from an excellent 2012 harvest season. Dark cherry, bark, vanilla, tobacco and a bit of anise. Excellent with sharp cheese, game, and rich pastas.
