Okay this wine produced one of those stories you tell around the wine geek campfire -- opened the bottle, it tasted overly bitter... bordering on tainted and undrinkable . But patience won out: I kept the bottle open for a couple days and then went in for seconds -- lo and behold, a decent fruit-forward and caramel-y Grenache appeared on the other end. Wine is weird.
