Solano County in da house! Color is appropriate. Dark as night and hard to see through. Smell dense and funky. Like rocks in the river, huckleberry sauce over ice cream and toast with blackberry jam. Flavors are lovely. Licorice, black fruits, meats, and something vegetal. Dry but not too much tannin. It’s got plenty of ummmph, but it’s also balanced. Maybe age a bit more if you want. This is a nice bottle. Glad I invested at Grocery Outlet in the top shelf offering.
