Gorgeous cream and baking spices on the palate. Fall flavors like cinnamon and nutmeg. Granny Smith apple. Subtle oxidation and mulled tropical fruits. Seamless and precise.

Lovely. Dry and salivating, this pretty complex wine also offer ripeness and a bold structure. No meant to last forever, though.

I still remember the very 1st Champagne visit I had 12yrs ago with Pierre, it's so great to come full circle. This is rich, but balanced, a great apple tarte tartin quality to it when opened, so showed development, but being VV it's understandable. After being open for an hour everything came alive, white florals, beautiful minerality. Outstanding wine.

Late celebration of my WSET Level 3 Pass with Distinction. Mid Lemon with a fine persistent mousse. Bread and apple aromas. Palate of delicate stone fruits with a touch of honey and the expected chalky minerality. An exquisite Blanc de Blancs from 2 Grand Cru vineyards aged 50 and 77 years. Amazing balance luxury and drinkablity. Interestingly Larmandier employs a program of Batonnage in his still wines prior to the 2nd fermentation. Clearly I loved this champagne.
