Strong smell, almost unpleasantly bitter. Allowed it to breathe for an hour with little effect. Not a fan

This is LangeTwins 2013 Zifandel. Wow!!!
Im not a fan of zins but this one rocks! The location is CRAFT restaurant and bar in Athens GA. The color is not opaque but dark. The bouquet is raspberry sorbet and oak. The initial palate is blackberry, spice, chocolate bliss! The finish is oak and pepper! It makes my lips tingle! Damn good! Im buying the bottle! Leaves your mouth dry and aching for another sip!

Really tasty, and a solid value. Maybe not as jammy as other Lodi Zins, but I appreciate the reserved nature of this wine.
