Fresh and with ample acidity. A little lemony Apple flavor tucked inside. Better the second day!

Missing a kick in the bubble. All Laherte wines have a nice flavour but are a little flat.

More Meunier magic from a certified magician. Pale straw in the glass. Effusive bubbles and nice creaminess up front. Fun, fruity nose with characteristic chalk and much peachy goodness. Lemon peel and mandarin oranges are shining here with just a small touch of bread. Plums poke their heads up to say hello.

As we keep seeing bottles from some producers become less and less available over time, it’s fun to see such a rising star making his mark in the champagne world. 60/3010 PM/CH/PN with 40% of the blend coming from reserve wines. Beautifully racy acidity with the extra brut dosage of 4.5 g/l. Truly terroir driven.

These wines are so good in the mouth. The acidity and structure are just wonderful. All of the citrus fruits reappear on the palate and they bring earthiness and minerality with them. The entire lineup from Aurelien Laherte is fantastic. Get them all.

Breakfast of champions (throwback to Saturday morning). All Granny Smith apple and mineral. Vibrant. pristine. Can’t recall whether the champagne was that good (though I am partial to Laherte Freres) or whether it was just the taste of sweet victory and relief.

Pinkish almost in color! Apples, lemon and maybe toffee? Lightly sparking and elegant. Beautiful champagne 🍾

Zesty lime and green apple with a buttery feel to it, like a champagne margarita, but? Lacking some fireworks as if I’m waiting for something.
Still, solidifies my love for champagne 👀
