Syrah character shines through here, even though it's 44% with 39% Mourvèdre, 13% Grenache, 4% Durif. Lovely Rhone blend redolent with black fruit, black pepper, and an elegant body. A lovely alternative to those who like fruit driven Syrah but do not prefer the thicker, meatier, earthier expressions e.g. Southern Rhone (which are wonderful in their own right!). 2012 vintage.

Opening aromas of sage and cranberries. Average mouthfeel bringing flavors of prunes, plums, and cola. Low tannin, medium body. Could benefit from a lighter finish.
