Love the family, love the wine, love Howell Mountain. Lone Canyon Vineyard. Not many of these left in the cellar.

2001 Lone canyon from 3L - excellent

Tight oaky

I don't often enjoy Cabernet, but when I do, I drink mountain Cabernet.

This was surprisingly good tonight. Very structured with lots of fruit. This has a lot of life ahead of it.

1998 from magnum. Incredibly youthful still. Very impressed.

Very big balanced wine with quite a bit of depth. Cedar, licorice and a ton of blackberries throughout. Could go many more years but why wait. Thanks Matt.
