Summer in garden with this in between beers and gin cocktails saw it stand nicely with food.
A pleasantly smooth wine with good character as it opened up a couple of hours after decanting.
A little spice with strong berry aroma linked to a lively cherry and berries flavour and developing a very nice wash of blackberry as the lingering taste.
Entering a French bistro you'd be pleased if this was your table wine.
