We’ve tried and loved La Spinetta wines before and so we had to open this Vermentino on National White Wine Day! @la_spinetta
It is a pale lemon hue. It offers a bouquet of vibrant, youthful aromas including honeydew, white peach, mandarin orange, grapefruit peel, passion fruit, honeysuckle, jasmine, almond, mineral, and sea breeze notes.
On the palate this wine is dry. It has medium(+) acidity, a medium body, medium alcohol, and present albeit less intense notes on the palate that are otherwise consistent with the nose. The finish is medium.
This wine is clean, offers intensity on the nose, elegance on the palate, with equal parts flavor, acidity, and alcohol to form a well-balanced wine that is positively delightful.
