Nose has plum, licorice, violet, gravel, and asphalt.

Palate opens with some blackberry and black cherry, lacks a bit of a mid palate and closes with plum skin, gravely minerality, and a touch of oak. Tannins are fairly course and pronounced.

Simple mencia blend. Lacking a bit of acidity for my taste, but solid overall with grippy tannins.
