Aug 15th, 2015Delightful, pure black and red fruit with a bit of minerality and a hint of greenness that added to the savoriness, all supported by good tannic and acidic structure. It reminded me more of an old style Right Bank wine than the sweet vanilla fruit bombs that have become too common in Merlot from both the US and Bordeaux.
