I usually don’t drink Zin. This was a pleasant surprise. This had deep black fruit, subtle tannins and moderate alcohol. Thumbs up

Kokomo 2017 Zinfandel from Sonoma’s Dry Creek Valley. 14.9%... Better have some water near by. This is a BIG BOY Zin! Zesty blackberry dark current toasted oak and cigarbox are the first things that come to my palate. Notes of chocolate and spice in the middle. A lot of butter on the tongue. Finishes dry but not too dry. It does have a slight sour pinch to it Typical of most zins that I have had. But that dissipates immediately at the finish. I probably won’t buy it again very good Zin.
