A little more reserved than previous vintages, the 2015 is a very pretty cherry/candy red on the eye moving toward clear/white at the rim. Wine is totally clear, no sediment, medium viscosity. Nose sees oak, vanilla, cooked sweet cherries, currants. Palette sees sour cherries, bitter and stemmy/vegetal qualities, medium acid, medium alcohol but more than I'd expect from a Pinot. A solid wine at a great price point.

Mar 22nd, 2017Ruby red with a little brick color. Medium + viscosity, no staining. Vanilla, coconut, oak, red fruits, some funkiness on nose. Palette sees ripe, sweet cherries, strawberries, tobacco. Medium ++ acid. Light mouthfeel, long finish. Amazing value!

Feb 13th, 2016This bottle drank beautifully after 4 hours open and a night corked in the fridge. Dried cherries, red fruits, and tons of musty organic earth on the nose. Wet rotting leaves, dirt. Medium body, medium finish. Delightful!
