This is really good. I took a risk as I thought this may have gone past it’s drinking window but it’s alive and well. Needs 30 minutes of air and then there is plenty of ripe, dark fruit which also gives some strawberry sweetness on the finish with additional spice. Nose is rich with blackberries, some oak, spice and sweet apple. Colour is vibrant red, showing some light brown / orange edges.

Lovely, brisk, pretty grenache, this one. Light on its feet. Light to medium bodied with great acid that complements the mix of dark cherry and red fruit notes. Yum.
