Sooooo good! $45 bucks…Blackcurrants, sliced strawberries, cured meats, and dried herb notes all emerge from the 2016 Syrah The Beautiful Powerline Vineyard, and it shows a more seamless, elegant style that still carries considerable power and richness.

Awesome.
Meat, smoke, blueberries, currants, & herbs on the nose with a beautiful dark purple color. On the palate, coffee, chocolate, pepper, and very moderate tannin. Drinks like it is 2006 rather than 2016. A bit pricey to be sure but a nice special occasion wine. Excited to try other K Syrahs.

Now THIS is a wine. Was totally unprepared for how good this was. A fragrant, powerful nose of dark fruit and barbecued meats (complete with smoke). The mid-palate moves beyond the savory introduction with complex notes of black coffee, dark chocolate and plum skins. The finish is balanced, peppery with loitering tannins. Hats off!

“Beautiful” Washington State Syrah. Walla Walla Powerline Vineyard fruit. High concentration of blueberry, plums, and freshly smoked cigar. Hints of coffee, fresh herbs, anise and violets. Wine literally transitions from fruity to organic as it opens up. The typical Syrah black pepper spice on the finish, along with a Meaty/Smokey note! Great Quality. Outstanding!
