Tasted blind. Deep gold color. Notes of lemon zest, stones, mint, red clay soil, some creme brulee. Big fruit in the mouth, light but persistent acidity. Great juice. Guessed 90 Ramonet Batard.

Med gold color. Heavy in the glass. Lemon curd stone and sweet fruit in the nose. Very glycerol in the mouth. Acidity powers in with 3+ hrs of air. Really big wine. Gets the nod over the 90 Jadot Monty with a more age and bigger mouth impact.

Some btls of '86 I've found to be too botrytised for my palate. This was on the right side of that line. Opulent.
